class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The CO-SPACE was born out of the Faculty of Engineering&#8217;s desire to create a space to meet young people and citizens.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"text-transform:uppercase\">Why &#8220;CO-SPACE&#8221;?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In May 2024, Prof.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unibz.it\/en\/faculties\/engineering\/academic-staff\/person\/8607-rosella-gennari\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gennari<\/a>&nbsp;and Prof.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unibz.it\/faculties\/engineering\/academic-staff\/person\/39580-luisa-petti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Petti<\/a>&nbsp;shared an initial concept of a third-mission space for young people and citizens with colleagues and local stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June 2024, feedback was gathered, e.g., what young people would like to do in the space, the tools they would like to have in the space, and&nbsp;the name they would like to give to the space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Young people, in particular, expressed their wish to have a&nbsp;<strong>space<\/strong>&nbsp;for<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>co<\/strong>ncrete, practical workshop-like activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>co<\/strong>llaborative, team-based activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and&nbsp;<strong>c<\/strong>reative activities with different materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And thus the name \u2018<strong>CO-SPACE<\/strong>\u2019 was
